Composed of experienced Austin musicians, the band was founded by Will Dickerson, Jacob Harrell, and Phil Spencer. Founded by Will Dickerson, Jacob Harrell, and Phil Spencer, Blue Dot Swing combines decades of musical experience to create a dynamic and engaging live performance.
Will Dickerson honed his gypsy jazz chops in Paris and Montreal, playing in cafes and studying under some of the world's best jazz manouche musicians.
Jacob Harrell, a native of Austin, has performed across Texas Hill Country and beyond, bringing his deep understanding of jazz tradition and modern swing.
Phil Spencer is a versatile bassist with a degree in music performance from the University of Northern Colorado. A seasoned performer and educator since 2002, he brings deep groove, impeccable timing, and a flair for improvisation.
